Education Cannot Wait
Lebanon’s educational institutions are in urgent need of digital literacy. Without access to essential digital transformation tools and literacy programs, students face challenges in receiving quality education and developing the skills necessary for today’s digital world. This gap prevents students from reaching their full potential and contributes to unequal opportunities in the job market.
At CG Fund, we are committed to addressing these challenges across schools in Lebanon. We focus on empowering students with digital skills, ensuring that no one is left behind in the digital age. Education cannot wait—it must be accessible to all.
Our Approach
Based on needs assessments, CG Fund is dedicated to transforming digital education by:
- Provision of Computers and IT Infrastructure:Updating computers and computer labs.
- Capacity Building: Training teachers (ToT) to effectively integrate digital tools and resources into their teaching practices.
- Student Empowerment: Delivering digital literacy sessions to students to develop foundational and advanced digital and soft skills.
- Provision of Clean and Affordable Energy: Ensuring the availability of clean and affordable energy where necessary.
- Teaching 21st-Century Skills: Focusing on teaching essential skills such as computer programming, coding, and robotics in public institutions.

Achievements To Date
In the last two years, we have achieved remarkable milestones:
- Equipped 58 computer labs across public schools, vocational institutes, and public universities.
- Installed solar energy systems in 35 locations.
- Conducted training sessions on SCRATCH and robotics for 15 institutions.
Our Action Plan
Building on this success, we aim to expand our impact in the coming year by
- Equipping 20 additional computer labs with 400 refurbished computers for public educational institutions
- Providing Training of Trainers (ToT) sessions for 30 public school teachers on SCRATCH and robotics.
- Teaching digital literacy skills to 3,000 public school students
By investing in these initiatives, we aim to empower a new generation of digitally proficient students, reduce inequalities, and create a brighter, more sustainable future for Lebanon. This aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
- SDG 4 (Quality Education): Ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education for all and promoting lifelong learning opportunities.
- SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy): Providing access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy for all.
- SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities): Reducing inequality within and among countries by providing marginalized groups with equal access to educational opportunities.
