In a school struggling with limited resources, the principal of Ajyal Saida School was faced with a tough reality. With the ongoing economic challenges, she had no choice but to suspend computer lessons and lay off the computer teacher.
“I had to focus on the core subjects and could no longer offer computer classes. For years, technology was neglected, and I honestly lost hope,” she shared.
That’s when CG Fund’s support came at a crucial time.
“Thanks to the generous donation of 24 laptops for the computer lab and funding for coding classes, CG Fund made a tremendous difference. It was truly like a gift from God,” the principal said, overwhelmed by the impact of the support.
The change was immediate. Students who had little to no access to technology were now engaged in learning how to use computers and even code, gaining vital skills that will help them succeed in the modern world.
“The transformation has been amazing. Before CG Fund, my students had zero technology knowledge. Now, they’re learning coding, using computers daily, and preparing for the future,” she explained.
For the principal, this support has changed how she views digital education. “Now, I see computer classes as just as important as any other subject in the curriculum. These skills are essential for the world we live in today, and I’m so thankful to CG Fund for giving us this opportunity.”
This is a powerful reminder that with the right support, even the most vulnerable communities can access the tools they need to thrive in today’s digital age.
